How to / Tips

Having been around salt water all of my life, I have been exposed to many new ideas, methods, and tons of new tackle products. The sport has changed dramatically over the years, but one thing is sure and certain, you never know everything there is to know about fishing.

Every time I go fishing, I gain knowledge. Lots of times I learn what not to do. It may not be a good experience. Fishing's a lifelong learning experience, with the bonus of providing fresh, tasty table fare. There is always something, whether it's good or bad, to experience and learn from every trip. The idea is to learn from your mistakes and to increase the ratio of good experiences vs. bad experiences. Learning from other fishermen is an excellent way to gain knowledge, without having to learn the hard way.
