Remember the Good Ole' Days

Rowland Driskell sent me a photo that reminded me of the days gone by when, my grandfather would come in from a night of Flounder gigging and his nightly haul would fill one of those galvanized wash tubs.

This photo was taken back in 1956 of Rowland and his dog with a mess of flounders his Dad gigged in West Bay. There were no limits on flounders back then and his Dad fished for food as well as fun, hence the small ones.

I hope this photo brings back fond memories for you just, as it did for me! Thanks Rowland!
